A Christmas RetreatA 4 day residential retreat in North Wales, UK, 23-27th Dec "A Home from Home" |
Hello, I'm Steph, I'll be holding the space for you here at Bodlondeb.
Christmas can be a complex time of year, I know it is for me. So I’ve created a space that is reflective of the things I long for: The gentle hustle and bustle of Christmas without the pressure.
A sense of family and togetherness. Fresh crispy air. Music. Calm. Kindness. Childish wonder. A light touch of creativity and fun. And a whole load of love, tasty food and space to breathe and rest. If the time feels right, you may get a visit from my gang - my lovely husband Iain, Fox (6) and Pip (4). They adore people, stories and playing games (especially Iain!). Please note - hanging out with us is not mandatory!
This time together will be whatever you need it to be and I cannot wait to share it with you. Steph x |
"The way Steph works is beautiful and free, intimate, kind, raw, valuable, honest, imperfect - and I say imperfect in the most amazing and real way - in a way that allows us to really celebrate the imperfect and wonder in us all, as messy, brilliant, brilliantly messy human beings." |

A few words from people who have been here...
It's worth it for the experience, memories and connections alone… I think that's worth it's weight in gold in this new age of technology over stimulus and disconnect.
- I'm taking away a load more clarity and trust in myself. - The way Steph works is beautiful and free, intimate, kind, raw, valuable, honest, imperfect, flexiblity in trust, in faith, in hope - and I say imperfect in the most amazing and real way - in a way that allows us to really and truly "do the work" and celecrate the imperfect and wonder in us all, as messy, brilliant, brilliantly messy human beings. - A reset. Space to focus on what I wanted and what actions to take. A place to switch off from the world. |
There is a reason I keep coming back to this place and a reason I keep coming back to work with Steph. It feels like home. It's somewhere to breathe, to be yourself without fear. Steph allows so much space for your to explore the person you are and provides so much kindness and love that it's impossible not to reciprocate that.
- I'm taking away tools to help me understand and cope with my mood, wonderful memories, beautiful souls to keep in touch with, routine, choice, self understanding, self worth, choice making for myself is important and a life coach to contact in the future. - Do it! I would tell them to go with an open mind and embrace it and that everything that happens on the course is for a reason and to trust it. |
It has given me a sense of connection with others and has made me realise my self worth.
- I'm taking away the will to focus on me and to do what's right for me. Some tools to help me on my journey to be more assertive. - The Retreat is very well organised, carefully covering things which link from day to the next. Facilities are great. The people are so friendly and compassionate, with your best interests at their heart. - One of the most powerful and empowering experiences of my life. Surrounded by stunning Welsh nature, it was a safe place to grow with the most beautiful group of people you could imagine. I would recommend this to anyone. |

Your home for the weekThe site is cosy and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed finding ways to give you as many adaptable options as possible to help you come together as a group whilst offering you little spaces of solitude and spaces to breathe.
There are 3 en suites bedrooms, each with bunking for 4 people and each bed with it's own curtain, shelf, plug socket and light. Plus we've built stairs instead of ladders. We understand sharing accommodation can feel daunting to some people so we’ve put lots of thought into how we can make it as comfortable as possible to give you ease of mind. |
Please bear in mind that our retreats can open up some big questions and the challenge of engaging with our minds, our habits and how we show up in the world. Although it is a very supportive environment, we cannot offer any therapeutic help, so if you’re currently experiencing mental health difficulties or any other strong or upsetting states of mind, please consider if a retreat is right for you at present and whether there are other supports you need in your life.
If you’re unsure, please email or call us directly before booking.
